Lucknow as a food capital of India!

Lucknow gets 'Creative City of Gastronomy' tag certification from UNESCO! 

The announcement did came on World Cities Day, with Lucknow joining Hyderabad, which was also designated in 2019, as the only two Indian cities in the gastronomy category.

Lucknow become a heritage food City of India. Lucknow is famous for kebabs, biryani, puri kachauri, chai ban makhan, sheermal kebab, lassi, kheer and many many more historical delicacies.

UNESCO tag for Lucknow reaffirms it's great place in India for its arts, food, culture, tradition, tehzeeb, language and literature.

Lucknow has some of the finest educational, social and cultural institutions of the region. Lucknow has IT city and AI city both, the city is a blend of tradition with technology. 

Big congratulations to all Lucknow citizens for its great global achievement for its outstanding food heritage and cultural legacy to be honoured by one & all.
