Rural Development as Important as Urban Development Centres!

Rural Development in India is as important as urban planning, urban development and modern infrastructure development. 

Most people in rural areas must get the basic urban facilities like good primary education, good public health centres, science and technology establishments and employment opportunities at industrial areas. 

Rural areas should develop major industries apart from just agriculture and animal husbandry. Rural Development should support cottage industries, grassroots democracy, sustainable livelihoods and decent white collar employment. 

Rural Development should support Gandhian principles, technology advancement and local entrepreneurship. 

More partnership and collaboration should be done with intrested private organisations for rural infrastructure development & rural ecosystem development. 

Rural Development should involve youth, activists and professionals. India should benefit from more rural - urban partnership and holistic models of development.
