Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan- An Teacher and Statesman as an National Example!

Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan had been a teacher, an ambassador, and an inspiring Vice President and President of the nation. He delivered various lectures on philosophy and held many academic positions at various centers.

After Dr. Radhakrishnan completed his education, he became a Professor of Philosophy at Madras Presidency College and then a Professor of Philosophy at the prestigious University of Mysore.


Dr. Radhakrishnan worked as the first Vice-President of India from 1952 to 1962 and then he became second President of India from 1962 to 1967. He also served as the Ambassador of India to the Soviet Union from 1949 to 1952. Dr. Radhakrishnan as an academician worked and served as the fourth Vice-Chancellor of Banaras Hindu University from 1939 to 1948.

Reign of Religion in Contemporary Philosophy, Philosophy of Rabindranath Tagore, The Hindu View of Life, Kalki or the Future of Civilization, An Idealist View of Life, The Religion We Need, India and China, and Gautama the Buddha.

His birth anniversary is celebrated as Teacher's Day all over India, it is an inspirational day and a day to celebrate knowledge, wisdom, the teacher-student relationship, the importance of the teaching profession, role of educational institutions in nation-building. 

Teachers are role models, mentors, influencers, and motivators for the future ahead and inspire a whole new generation of masses, citizens, professionals & leaders. Teachers create a better society and a better tomorrow.
