Dr. Manmohan Singh- Reaching Public Excellence & Service Led Leadership!
Dr. Manmohan Singh had had an elaborate career in academics, bureaucracy, public policy & politics in India. He served many positions, many innings, and many years in politics. As a government advisor, UGC head, in the planning commission, in RBI, and then as FM and eventually PM.
His work as FM brought liberalization, and as a PM ushered in an era of right-based policies like RTI, MGNREGS, Right to Food, Right to Education etc.
In a time of materialism gaining height in our political system, Dr. Singh is a testament to probity, service, honesty, gratitude, and public decency. Certainly his time was an Indian historical time for all generations.
